We’re only approaching the middle of June and Celtic have seemingly already made the signing of the summer.
The Hoops are in the market for a striker and winger, while a left-back will also be on the shortlist to replace the departing Greg Taylor.
Taylor appears to be on his way to PAOK, but a Greek report earlier this week stated ‘negotiations have frozen’ for now.
Scott Bain has left for Falkirk, and it is expected former Aberdeen goalkeeper Ross Doohan will be his replacement.
And the Hoops are about to sign Isaac English from Greenock Morton for £50k, according to the Greenock Telegraph.

Simon Donnelly hails the return of Kieran Tierney to Celtic
But it’s Kieran Tierney who has stolen the headlines so far as Celtic made the Scotland left-back their first capture of the summer window.
Tierney signed a five-year contract to return to Paradise having left Arsenal following the expiration of his contract there.
Michael Stewart thinks Tierney is an ‘absolute colossus’ of a signing, and ex-Celtic star Simon Donnelly is in the same school of thought.
Donnelly said on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard: “I think Celtic just focus on Celtic. There’s a lot of people saying, ‘oh Rangers are going to do this and Rangers are going to do that’.
“I think Celtic just have to focus on making themselves stronger. They had a really good campaign on reflection looking back at the Champions League and the new format.
“But it’s going to be more difficult again because they’ve got a qualifier this year. We’re in the infancy of the transfer window where you don’t know if you’ll lose a player or two.
“They’ll have an eye on certain ones. I think Kieran Tierney is potentially the signing of the summer for Celtic, but they’ll have to get other ones in to strengthen to keep ahead in the domestic game and make inroads in Europe.”
Tierney on Celtic in the Champions League
Tierney will certainly make Celtic stronger at left-back, which will only help in their endeavours to reach the Champions League league phase again and progress to the knockout stages.
The former Arsenal man took in Celtic’s game against Bayern Munich and called the highs and lows of that tie ‘unbelievable’.
And he wants to continue Celtic’s European momentum in the competition next season.
He said: “It was unbelievable. The Bayern Munich game, obviously, was the biggest high when we scored and the biggest low when conceded last minute.
“But I think that just shows the journey that the club’s been on, not just one or two years, but the last six, seven years, is building towards making our mark in Europe.
“And I believe the squad there can do it, and they showed that this year as well.”
