Left-sided centre-back

Centre-back is the priority for Celtic, particularly on the left side so that Kieran Tierney can shift out to the wing-back role.
With Liam Scales in the middle of the back three and Auston Trusty on the right, until Cameron Carter-Vickers returns, it makes sense to get someone in who can play that role and restore some balance to the side.
Ball-winning midfielder
What has become evidently clear since the Frenchman was appointed is that Celtic are lacking a midfielder who can be a brute enforcer.
Callum McGregor cannot do it all on his own, and the rest of the options are more attack-minded than box-to-box.
The side is in need of someone who can be there to do the dirty work and act as the first line of defence, while also breaking the lines to join the attack when required.
McGregor is also 32, which means having a younger option available against sides that the Hoops are expected to dominate against means he can rest.
Proven striker
The big one. Everyone who has had a go at being a striker this season has been inconsistent to say the least.
Injuries, mixed runs of form and transfer speculation have all contributed to this, and what Celtic need is someone who can lead the line consistently.
