What’s interesting is that O’Neill was asked about Fares Ghedjemis in his recent press conference, and he suggested a possible transfer could be on the cards.
The latest is that Ghedjemis featured for Serie B side Frosinone Calcio on Saturday, as his team drew 1-1 against Virtus Entella.
Tawanda Maswanhise
Celtic don’t look to sign much domestic talent or push to sign it. But Motherwell’s thriving forward Tawanda Maswanhise could be the answer.
The powers that be are still searching far and wide for another goalscorer, and you just wonder if Maswanhise’s strong form for Motherwell will tempt them before the deadline.

There is no specific name, but this is perhaps a rather worrying situation. Most of the talk and limelight is on bringing in attacking players.

But O’Neill needs a right-sided centre-back. Stephen Welsh was recalled from Motherwell, and you just wonder what the point of bringing him back from his loan deal is if he is going to be fourth choice.
Either way, a centre-back is a must, and just as important as that goalscorer.
