Celtic could announce Wilfried Nancy at any minute.
That’s despite Martin O’Neill winning five of his six matches since taking interim charge of the Hoops last month.
Reporters have even said that Nancy is preparing for the January transfer window, with known players such as Wessam Abou Ali on the radar.
A player who certainly won’t be in the thinking of most Celtic fans is Luis Palma, who is enjoying life on loan in Poland.
But reports in his homeland of Honduras have said that Palma’s situation could change under Nancy.
Know who it is?
Luis Palma could return to Celtic under Wilfried Nancy
Palma registered good numbers at Celtic Park, but he wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea.
Eventually, Brendan Rodgers decided that he wasn’t having him, facilitating loan moves to Greece, and now Poland.

He has established himself as a star player at Lech, playing in a role with more freedom and leading their attack domestically and in Europe.
But could he really return to Glasgow in January? A report from oncenoticas says that Palma’s ‘situation has changed’ since the departure of Rodgers.
The report claims that Palma could see a change of direction in the winter window, with a door potentially being reopened by Nancy.
The report doesn’t say anything for certain, it must be stressed. But it seems that Rodgers’ relationship with Palma had broken down – not the only time this has happened to the Northern Irishman this year.
Nancy will be familiar with Palma given the pair’s co-existence in the CONCACAF sphere over the last five years.
It would be an unlikely reunion, given just how far out of the picture the winger was in Rodgers’ final nine months.
But if this season has been one season for Celtic, it’s been unpredictable.
Luis Palma’s Celtic career
Celtic paid £3.5 million to take Palma from Aris Thessaloniki in Rodgers’ first summer transfer window. He was, essentially, the Jota replacement.
A goal in his first league appearance at Fir Park seemed to indicate that he was the business, and he followed that up with two goals in the Champions League group stage.
He ended his first season with his goal tally in double digits, but in 12 appearances in the following campaign, he ended up with none.
It was quite the surprise when then-Conference league holders Olympiacos took him on loan, but he finally seems to have a home in Poland, where Lech have an option to buy.
Palma’s Celtic career is firmly on hold, for now…
