Celtic target Sondre Orjasaeter seems to know where his next club will be after reports confirmed he will be on the move.

Orjasaeter has been linked with Celtic in the past but reports suggesting a move to Celtic Park have died down of late.

The Sarpsborg winger turned down the Bhoys in January but has continued to impress in Norway, attracting the interest of big hitters like PSV.

Celtic need a winger to boost their options in the attacking department, but will it be Orjasaeter?

Reports in The Netherlands have claimed that the 21-year-old will join FC Twente.

De Telegraaf have revealed that the deal is set to be in the region of €5m (4.5m), which would make him Twente’s second-most expensive since they were relegated and returned to the Eredivisie in 2019.

Jan Streuer, the technical director of the club confirmed their attempt to sign the winger, who is expected to join imminently.

This season Orjasaeter has three goals in 17 games in all competitions as Sarpsborg currently sit 10th in the Eliteserien.

Celtic don’t need to panic just yet

The transfer window has been largely positive for Celtic.

Signs of panic are creeping in from the fanbase, but this isn’t the first time the club have left it late to complete the deals they need.

With a Champions League place up for grabs, only the best will do and it’s clear that the Hoops haven’t found their chosen target yet.

Bids have been rejected for Jakob Breum while it’s all gone cold on Michel-Ange Balikwisha too.

Brendan Rodgers knows that those positions need filling, but Celtic don’t sign anyone for the sake of it; they must be the right option.
