Kenny Miller isn’t a name that brings too many smiles to the faces of Celtic fans.
Miller is one of the few Celtic players to have also represented Rangers, where he is arguably remembered much more fondly.
The former Scotland international lasted one season at Celtic Park, scoring 11 goals in 46 games before joining Derby County in 2007.
He initially joined from Wolves after five years with the club and did win the Scottish Premiership and Scottish League Cup, as well as reach the last 16 of the Champions League.
And although Miller has fond memories of Celtic’s Champions League campaign and no regrets when it came to joining the Bhoys, there is one thing he would change about his time at Parkhead.

The one thing Kenny Miller would change about Celtic stint
Scoring 11 goals in a debut season isn’t too bad, but when you have allegiance to Rangers, you need to do so much more than that.
By crossing the divide, not once but twice, the forward always gets a frosty reception.
Reflecting on his move back in 2018, Miller told The Mirror the only thing he wishes played out differently was the number of goals he bagged for the Hoops.
“Was it the right move, the wrong move? Do I have any regrets? No, because it did exactly what I thought it would,” he said.
“I never scored enough goals that season and I look back and think I could have done better in that regard.
“But it’s not about individual accolades or achievements. For Rangers and Celtic it’s about winning trophies and competing in Europe, you’ve got to progress. All those boxes got ticked.”
Why did Kenny Miller really leave Celtic?
No sooner than Miller joined he left after an approach from recently promoted Derby County came in.
Derby signed the Scotland international and he was a part of the infamous side that only amassed 11 points.
Additionally, the forward knew that he wanted to return to Rangers at some point in his career and doing that while with Celtic would’ve only been more chaotic.
Furthermore, the signing of Scott McDonald pushed Miller down the pecking order and restricted his game time.
