The feel-good factor has returned on the pitch for Celtic.
Everyone associated with Celtic has Martin O’Neill to thank for it, because he has won five out of his six games in charge since Brendan Rodgers left last month.
When Rodgers was in charge, when he left, and since O’Neill returned, one thing has been consistent, and that’s the relationship between the fans and the board.
There has been a lot of off-field noise, but Callum McGregor had a message for all following Celtic’s win over Feyenoord on Thursday night in the Europa League.

Callum McGregor on Celtic’s off-field noise after win over Feyenoord
It has been a crazy week at Celtic, because it was only last Friday that the fiasco of the AGM unfolded, with Peter Lawwell cancelling it after half an hour.
Thankfully, the players have taken some of the shine off that, with that stunning win at St Mirren when McGregor fired in from distance, and then the win in Rotterdam.
After that game against Feyenoord, McGregor was asked about the off-field noise by TNT Sports, and he stated that he has been consistent with what he has been saying ‘since day one.’
That’s the fact that the noise comes from ‘when you don’t win football matches’, as it’s not been the start to the campaign the champions of Scotland were looking for.
Added to that, the Celtic skipper is hoping the club’s first European away win since 2021 will help ‘settle’ matters on and off the pitch.

“I have said this from day one,” said McGregor. “The noise comes from when you don’t win football matches.
“When you do, hopefully that will settle everything and bring everyone back together again. A win like that is perfect fodder.
“Like I said, hopefully they enjoy it. The players were fantastic. The coaching staff, the way they applied themselves to the game, and the game plan they gave us, it worked amazing.
“Like I said, really, really good. Happy with that. We have to go again, and go again on Sunday.”
