Other than probably Kieran Tierney, not many Celtic players can hold their heads up high after another horror show.
It’s not a great time to be Wilfried Nancy as St Mirren secured League Cup final glory at the expense of Celtic on Sunday at Hampden.
There can be no complaints, Celtic deserved to lose to St Mirren, as new manager Nancy has lost his first three games in charge, and is the only manager in the club’s history to do so.
After conceding from another corner inside two minutes, Reo Hatate equalised with a brilliant effort following Tierney’s pinpoint cross, and he was probably the only one the supporters were lauding during and after the match.

How good was that?!

Celtic fans laud Kieran Tierney’s performance against St Mirren
All three games under Nancy have been problematic, with a lot of talk around Celtic changing formation after the successful interim spell of Martin O’Neill.
Several players have looked off it, but the Celtic Park faithful, amid the gloom, wanted to give Tierney his flowers for his display.
Some even wanted the Scotland international to stay on the pitch, but because of his past injury issues, it seemed as though he had to come off.
@LiamMcc67 thinks Tierney was a big creator for Celtic: ‘Mixed first half, Scales and Tierney being the best creatives tells its own story, we have nothing in the final 3rd now Iheanacho has gone off.’
@TheDogzBawz summed up Celtic’s equaliser in a simple way: ‘Superb Hatate. Great ball from KT.’
There is no better crosser, as @thaaabs_ stated: ‘Tierney has still got it, man, better crosser than all our fullbacks (which is probably why our wingers do it.’
@DavidKing10 thinks Nancy is getting the best out of Tierney: ‘It looks like Celtic have recruited a manager to get the best out of Tierney.’
@thEnd0fTheStorm kept it simple, but true: ‘Tierney playing brilliantly.’
The Tierney of old is here, as @rory_cfc touched upon: ‘Kieran Tierney is back.’
@CELTICBOB1967 summed it up how it was going for Celtic during the game, including Tierney: ‘Iheanacho was superb before going off. Jonny Kenny hasn’t done much. McGregor and Tierney have been excellent. Tounekti is still not doing enough. Another goal should win it for us, hopefully.’
@NoleBhoy wanted Tierney to stay on: ‘Unless he’s complaining about injury, taking Tierney off is mad.’
@drnjc91 gave Tierney his flowers: ‘Tierney is the only one who can hold his head high here.’
There were already big problems at Celtic this season, and this just makes things worse.
The even bigger issue is that it could yet get even worse, and you just have to question what on earth happens from here?
Another change in manager? Will board members now actually get up and leave? Are Hearts actually going to win the Premiership title?
Prepare for things to get tougher, even with a win over Dundee United on Wednesday night.
