Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic team vs Dundee for tonight’s Scottish Premiership fixture at Celtic Park.

The full matchday squad is as follows:

Starting XI: Hart, Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Scales, Taylor, McGregor, Iwata, O’Riley, Maeda, Idah, Yang

Substitutes: Bain, Palma, Kyogo, Kuhn, Bernardo, Vata, Kelly, Ralston, Welsh

Rodgers makes three changes to the team as he looks to improve on the first-half performance against Motherwell at Fir Park.

With Rangers facing Kilmarnock tonight, Rodgers knows that anything less than three points will not do if he hopes to stay within touching distance of the Ibrox side.

In comes Cameron Carter-Vickers for the injured Maik Nawrocki and Adam Idah takes the place of Kyogo Furuhashi and Hyunjun Yang comes in for Nicolas Kuhn.

Broadcast details

The 7:45 pm kick-off will be shown live to Celtic TV subscribers with a valid subscription outside the UK and Ireland.

A pay-per-view Game Pass can also be purchased on the Celtic TV website.

BBC Radio Scotland Extra will also offer full commentary of the fixture with coverage starting from 7:05pm.

Instant verdict on the Celtic team vs Dundee

The Celtic manager will be hoping that his team will finish off where they left off at Motherwell on Sunday afternoon and come out of the traps quickly to try and secure another three vital points in the title race.

Obviously, Kyogo Furuhashi‘s performance against Motherwell has cost the Japanese striker his place. Still, he does provide a great option off the bench against a Dundee side that is sure to tire as the game progresses.

The Hoops gaffer will be looking to captain, Callum McGregor to inspire his team to victory and to Adam Idah to provide the firepower upfront to help close the goal difference gap as well as the points gap at the top of the table.

Tomoki Iwata retains his place after his impressive Fir Park outing and the fans will be hoping that Daizen Maeda has his shooting boots on after missing a few gilt-edged chances against Stewart Kettlewell’s side on Sunday.

Yang will look to build on his excellent 31-minute cameo at Fir Park where Kuhn disappointed and was largely ineffective.

All that matters at the moment is for Celtic to get the three points tonight so that they can head to Tynecastle on Sunday full of confidence to face what will undoubtedly be a difficult Hearts tie.
