Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic team vs Kilmarnock for today’s Scottish Premiership match at Celtic Park.

The full match squad is as follows:

Starting XI: Hart, Ralston, Welsh, Scales, Taylor, McGregor, O’Riley, Maeda, Palma, Kyogo, Idah.

Substitutes: Bain, Kuhn, Yang, Nawrocki, Oh, Iwata, Bernabei, Bernardo, Kelly

Celtic resume league business today looking to beat a difficult Kilmarnock side and to put some daylight between themselves and Rangers at the top of the table.

The Celtic fans will be hoping that the good performance they witnessed against St Mirren continues today and that the team can win by a significant number of goals.

Rodgers makes two changes from the team that started against St Mirren last Sunday with Anthony Ralston coming in for the injured Alistair Johnston and Greg Taylor resuming his regular starting spot in place of Alexandro Bernabei.

Broadcast details

As the game is a 3pm kick-off at Celtic Park, there is no coverage by any of the major broadcasters.

The game will be broadcast live on Celtic TV for subscribers outwith the UK and Ireland but the channel will offer full live commentary and a match replay for those subscribers within these shores.

BBC Radio Scotland will also offer full live commentary online and on the radio.

Instant verdict on Celtic team vs Kilmarnock

To be honest, this was the team that I called this morning and it is no surprise to see Greg Taylor back in the fold.

Whilst Alexandro Bernabei has performed well over the past few fixtures, the Argentine can be erratic at times. The decision to include Taylor from the start is a big one by Rodgers considering he must be lacking match sharpness.

It’s great to see the Celtic manager sticking with the same attacking front line as last week as Luis Palma performed well and Kyogo Furuhashi seems to be forming a decent partnership with Adam Idah.

Clearly, Rodgers is going for a big win against Kilmarnock and the Celtic supporters will be hoping that there will be plenty of goals as well as three points on the board this afternoon.
