Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic starting XI to face Braga.

Celtic fans won’t be protesting against the board after they confirmed that a meeting with leading figures at the Hoops will take place.

Braga boss Carlos Vicens is under pressure and even though they won in their first game of the Europa League, could find himself sacked with a defeat.

This is an earlier than usual kick off, due to the competition’s rules, however, three points are on the line and Celtic need a win.

Paulo Bernardo will start for the first time this season after Reo Hatate was ruled out through injury.

Peter Grant thinks Bernardo is the long-term replacement for Callum McGregor and he will get a chance to show Brendan Rodgers what he can do.

Colby Donovan and Kieran Tierney both return to the starting XI after being named on the bench in the goalless draw against Hibernian.

The Celtic manager has opted to persist with Daizen Maeda on the right-hand side of the attacking trio, while Kelechi Iheanacho remains in the middle.
