Celtic continue their pre-season preparations as they travel to Ireland to face Cork City.

Brendan Rodgers’ side started their pre-season with a 1-0 win against Queen’s Park thanks to Johnny Kenny’s first-half strike.

A number of youngsters featured in Celtic’s squad for Queen’s Park and are expected to be involved once again.

Both teams will be competing for the Cork Super Cup in what is expected to be more valuable minutes under the belt.

Kick-off is at 6pm at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Tuesday 8 July.

The game will be a historic first, as it will be the first ever men’s football match to be held at a GAA stadium.

Is Cork City vs Celtic live on TV?

Supporters will be able to watch the game live on Premier Sports 1, with coverage beginning at 5:50pm.

Fans around the world can also watch it by signing up to Celtic TV, if you haven’t already.

Coverage on Celtic TV starts at 17:00 BST, which is one hour before kick-off.

Rodgers has confirmed that Celtic’s international stars won’t feature after returning to pre-season training at the weekend.

That means the likes of Kieran Tierney and new addition Benjamin Nygren won’t be in the squad, but a blend of youth and first team stars are expected to be present in Cork.

The Celtic manager could include new signing Callum Osmand for the first time.
