You can’t keep losing games as Celtic manager.
That’s the unfortunate situation Wilfried Nancy finds himself in because that’s five defeats he has now suffered as Celtic manager after being appointed in December, and it’s not even the New Year yet.
The issue with Celtic’s defeat to Motherwell on Tuesday night is the fact that it isn’t a surprise because of the performances during the recent back-to-back wins.

Stewart didn’t mince his words on Premier Sports (30/12/25) because he stated that the Hoops were ‘schooled’ by Jens Berthel Askou’s men.
“Celtic are second best,” said Stewart. “Chasing shadows, schooled. On the park and off it.”

What next for Nancy…
Unless Celtic decide to sack Nancy before the weekend, it’s the small matter of the Glasgow derby against Rangers on Saturday lunchtime.
To put it simply, Nancy simply can’t lose this, and if he does, then he will be gone as soon as the final whistle is blown.
