Celtic fans continued to vent their anger against the board with a huge pre-match protest before the Hearts game.

A pre-planned protest was organised amid the lack of communication from the board, with the final straw being the indefinite ban of the Green Brigade.

It comes as Wilfried Nancy is prepared to take charge of the Hoops for the first time, and could take them to the top of the table with three points.

The protest took place before the game, where several supporters gathered ahead of a fan march to the ground.

Celtic fans walk towards Parkhead in peaceful protest

According to the Daily Record, over 1,000 fans were in attendance for the walk that began from St Mary’s Church.

Supporters remained peaceful on the walk as they held up banners which vented their anger towards the board.

Despite attempts from Michael Nicholson to communicate with fans in an interview, many still haven’t forgotten the shambles of the AGM, which was shut down by Peter Lawwell.

Did you go to the peaceful protest? Do you think it will send a message to the board?

There are no plans for a protest inside the ground while the game is on, but chants of ‘sack the board’ and ‘all Celtic fans against the board’ have been frequently heard at matches.

Videos and clips were posted on social media, with all of them showing that fans voiced their opinions in a peaceful and respectful manner.
