Celtic now sit joint-top of the Scottish Premiership with Hibs after beating St Mirren at Parkhead.
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers was pleased with the win as he named Benjamin Nygren, Reo Hatate and Adam Idah as his standout performers.
Celtic’s win over St Mirren put a nice finishing touch to a weekend where Rangers’ draw with Motherwell meant that all the pressure is already on the Ibrox club.
St Mirren boss Stephen Robinson previously mentioned that Celtic’s time wasting was a compliment to his team but here, the Paisley gaffer had a strange moan about the Hoops which fans will be sick of hearing.

Stephen Robinson moans about Celtic’s finances
Celtic are Scotland’s richest club. There is no other club in the country that comes close and Robinson didn’t waste time in having a moan about it post-match.
Robinson told BBC Sportsound [29m], “You have to be [defensively solid]. When you look at what Celtic are bringing on, the millions of pounds spent on their players and we’re bringing on a 17-year-old.
“So the disparity is huge in this league now.
“And we have to be in a position at the end of the season, if somebody doesn’t do their job right on paper, then we’ve got to try and be in a position to take a top-six place.
“But if we take the positives, we know that we’ve got a tough start to the season. We don’t fear anybody.
“I don’t think we played like we feared anybody today. We pressed when we needed to press. And the disappointment was we lose the deflection.”
Celtic have earned all the money they have through prudent financial planning, fan backing, a successful player trading model and the worldwide appeal of the club.
The Parkhead club should not be made to feel guilty about that and Robinson having a moan about it (like other managers have in the past) is tired, boring and frankly, one that Celtic supporters are sick of hearing.
Celtic’s Adidas deal although relentless is huge for the club
Celtic’s deal with Adidas will continue for the next 10 years.
And whilst the constant release of merchandise seems relentless for Celtic fans, it does benefit the club massively.
Adidas are a global brand and Celtic are expected to earn well over the £30m first quoted in the deal.
Celtic should not be made to feel as if they have gained a sporting advantage because of their prudent and excellent fiscal management.
