Celtic are risking the wrath of the fans after the club released even more Adidas merchandise on the morning of the 2025/26 away kit announcement.

Celtic announced the new away kit this morning after teasing the new Adidas launch last night in a late social media post.

The launch was met with a furious backlash from Celtic supporters as they roasted the Parkhead board for raking in more cash whilst failing to spend serious money strengthening Brendan Rodgers’ squad.

But if the fans were angry at the away kit launch, they will not be happy at Celtic’s latest merchandise release.

Celtic’s low-key release of the 2025/26 Global Training Kit

In a low-key social media release, Celtic fans can now pre-order the new Global Training Kit which the club say will complement the new away jersey.

From a basic t-shirt to training jackets and hoodies, Celtic fans have the choice of 15 new pieces of men’s kit or five new pieces of women’s training gear.

Priced from £38 for a pair of women’s training shorts to £85 for a men’s all-weather jacket, Celtic fans will be feeling the pinch as the club look to squeeze even more money out of the new Adidas deal.

The Celtic board could face another huge fan backlash with relentless Adidas merchandise releases

67 Hail Hail has covered every Adidas kit launch this summer and the site has also taken in all the fan reaction to them.

The Global Training Kit launch is Celtic’s SEVENTH merchandise release since May and not one of them has gone down well with large sections of the Hoops support.

As fans wait for the club to spend properly on new players, Celtic’s continual release of new merch and failure to add new players to the squad is causing a terrible backlash on social media.

And looking at the reaction to Celtic’s latest tweet, it appears that fans are turning on the club quicker than they can sell the kits.
