Celtic’s title hopes are in serious doubt after losing back-to-back league games for the first time since December 2023.
Hearts beat Celtic to move eight points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table in a performance that will seriously alarm supporters.
There were too many mistakes to mention, but PLZ pundit Tam McManus highlighted one moment that left him borderline speechless.
Tam McManus calls out Celtic defending for Hearts’ second goal
Dane Murray endured a nightmare afternoon for the Hoops, scoring an own goal and giving away a penalty, while also playing a part in Hearts’ second goal.
It was the second goal that led to McManus’ response on social media as Alex Kyziridis was able to cut inside following some poor closing down from Colby Donovan and Benjamin Nygren before firing into the bottom corner.
Replays showed that Murray jumped out of the way, giving Kasper Schmeichel no chance, and the pundit couldn’t believe what he saw.
Speaking on X, McManus said: “Not sure I’ve ever seen anything like that in my life tbh.”
Auston Trusty must start for Celtic against Falkirk
Rodgers chose Murray over Auston Trusty as part of a brave call for the game at Tynecastle.
Sadly, the decision backfired spectacularly and has been a contributing factor into why some Celtic fans want the Hoops boss sacked.

Trusty was one of the better players in pre-season but injuries have meant that he has had to wait in the wings to play.
Falkirk on Wednesday is a great chance for the USMNT centre-back to come back into the XI and stake a claim for a place in the side against Rangers in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final a few days later.
