Oh, what Celtic would do to turn back time by just a month.
The first thing Celtic would do is keep Martin O’Neill in his interim role a little longer because this Wilfried Nancy run has been beyond disastrous.
You would think that if Celtic wanted to sack Nancy, it would have happened by now because it has been more than 24 hours since the Rangers defeat.
Unfortunately, the longer Nancy stays on board, the more records he breaks, and all for the wrong reasons, because this is turning out to be the worst managerial appointment in the club’s history.
If Wilfried Nancy was to be sacked, who would you want to become the next Celtic manager?

Celtic’s record of scoring first at Parkhead…
It’s interesting because, leading up to this game, many questioned what the atmosphere would be like inside Celtic Park.
And how toxic it would become, given how badly things are going for Nancy, if Rangers scored first.
But it was Yang who fired Celtic in front, with a brilliant solo effort, and Parkhead was rocking because this was exactly what the doctor ordered.
What was even better was that the Hoops were unbeaten for the last ten years at home, in the Premiership, when scoring first.
So, that was another reason to be cheerful, but as everyone has seen, the story of Nancy’s reign at Celtic is to look amazing in the first half, but not score enough goals, and then collapse in the second.
And now Celtic’s decade-long run of being unbeaten at home when netting first has ended embarrassingly, as it was noted on BBC Radio 5 Live Sport.
BBC commentator: “Any game Celtic have gone in front at home, they have always gone on to win in the league. It is a decade since Celtic scored first in a home league game and ended up losing it. That’s against any opponent, not just against Rangers. You have to go back to Motherwell, 2015.”
Given that Nancy is still on board, what other records is he going to break before the board sees some sense and pulls the trigger?!
