Celtic booked their ticket into the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup on Sunday.

Thanks to goals from Daizen Maeda and Adam Idah, Celtic beat Hibernian 2-0 on home soil, with both goals coming in either half.

It was a big improvement from the performance at Easter Road a couple of weeks ago, as Brendan Rodgers’ side also ended Hibs’ 15-game unbeaten run.

It’s also another game where Celtic didn’t concede at home and it further proves how strong the Treble-chasers have been at Parkhead this term.

But here at 67 Hail Hail, we take a look at the three winners and losers from Celtic’s win over Hibs.

Daizen Maeda, Adam Idah and Reo Hatate shine for Celtic against Hibernian

Daizen Maeda – Another game and another goal for Celtic’s Player of the Year. You might as well give him that award now.

That’s goal number 27 from the Japan international and he certainly was a winner from this game.

Adam Idah – When Kyogo Furuhashi left Celtic, many felt that it would open the door for Idah to start on a regular basis and make that striker spot his own.

The Republic of Ireland international netted a brace at Villa Park to showcase what he is all about, but since then, Maeda has outperformed him and taken his place up front.

The goals have dried up for the summer signing in recent weeks, so this goal from the bench was much-needed and it’s also another striker in the Scottish Cup from Idah.

Reo Hatate – This was Hatate at his best and that has been said a fair few times this season.

The all-action midfielder had a brilliant effort from distance and he just looked like he was enjoying himself in the middle of the park. That’s when you know Hatate is at his best.

Greg Taylor’s Celtic career might now be over

Another game where Rodgers started Jeffrey Schlupp at left-back.

Yes, Schlupp is on-loan until the end of the season from Crystal Palace, but like he has done since he arrived, and against Hibs, he was brilliant and looked far livelier than what Greg Taylor has done all season.

With Taylor’s deal running out at the end of the season and now, with the Scotsman losing his place, you have to think that his career at Celtic is done.

It’s a shame that it’s ending this way, but he had plenty of time to put pen-to-paper on a new contract and now Rodgers has found his man at left-back.
