Celtic have parted ways with plenty of names over the years.
From the likes of Nicolas Kuhn to Como this summer to ones in the past such as Matt O’Riley and Odsonne Edouard, they’ve all gone on to different projects.
With former Hoops stars dotted all over the globe, there is often a case where two will go head-to-head against each other.
Two former Celtic stars did exactly that as they reunited in the Europa League play-offs.

Hyeon-gyu Oh and Luis Palma cross paths in Europa League play-off
Hyeon-gyu Oh and Luis Palma both had underwhelming experiences while at Celtic Park.
In Oh’s case, there was an argument to suggest that he wasn’t ever given a fair run of games whereas Palma fell out of favour under Brendan Rodgers.
Both have moved on to Genk and Lech Poznan respectively, and the two went up against each other in the play-off round of the Europa League.
It was the South Korean who came out on top as Genk hammered Lech Poznan 6-3 on aggregate after the Belgian club won 5-1 in the first leg before Palma and Poznan won 2-1 in the reverse fixture.
Palma is loved by Lech Poznan fans already but was subbed at half time in the game while Oh impressed across the full 90.
After the game, the pair posed for a photo with each other’s shirts, which appeared on on Palma’s Instagram story, which was captioned with “Good luck my bro, it was good to see you again”.

Celtic could come up against Oh in Europa League main phase
Attention now turns to the Europa League draw where Celtic will be in pot two.
Brendan Rodgers’ side could come up against Genk, who are in pot four for the competition and therefore may play against them.
If they were to draw the Belgian Pro League giants it could mean a first meeting for Oh. It would also be a first return to Belgium for new signing Michel-Ange Balikwisha as well as a return to his homeland for Arne Engels.
