Alex Valle had a very successful loan spell at Celtic.

Valle joined the Bhoys last summer from Barcelona on loan and spent the first half of the season in Paradise as he impressed Celtic fans with some fine displays.

The young Spanish left-back quickly showed his class with impressive performances in the Champions League with Celtic against the likes of Atalanta, RC Leipzig and Club Brugge.

Bizarrely, Valle left Celtic for Como in the January transfer window after Barcelona ended his loan deal early and already, the 21-year-old has impressed boss Cesc Fabregas.

But now, just four months after leaving Celtic for Serie A, Fabrizio Romano has delivered an update on Valle and it has left Barcelona fans fuming.

“Understand Como are set to trigger €6m release clause for Alex Valle to sign him on permanent deal from Barcelona.

Barcelona fans send Deco a message after permanent sale of ex-Celtic defender Valle

Valle made 19 appearances for Celtic helping the club win the League Cup and the Scottish Premiership over his short spell in Paradise.

But after this news, Barcelona fans are fuming as they come to terms with the exit of the talented defender.

@barcaextraa said, “Imagine we sold this guy for Gerard Martin. Deco and nonsense deals.”

The heat is not letting up as another Barcelona fan said, “Barça letting another La Masia talent walk for pocket change while burning millions on flops. Club’s cooked beyond repair.”

The lowball price has enraged another supporter.

One Barca fan raged, “While we are stuck with Gerard Martin. #DECOOUT.”

The criticism keeps on coming:

Valle has missed just one game for Como and has made 14 Serie A appearances to help the club finish in 10th place.
