It looks like Celtic striker Kyogo is on his way out of the club in a £10million move.
It will soon be former Hoops man Kyogo as Ligue 1 outfit Rennes close in on their man to help them climb the division from 14th towards the European spots.
Kyogo fancies a crack at a top five club as he feels it will help him push for a regular Japan spot but Celtic fans have struggled to get used to the idea of being without the 30-year-old for the rest of the campaign.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano told what Rennes boss Jorge Sampaoli hinted about how the attacker could potentially be in his squad this weekend when they face AS Monaco.

Kyogo is on verge of a £10m Celtic exit to Rennes
The impatient French club are not wasting any time in getting the deal over the line despite Kyogo only playing last night in Celtic’s 1-0 win over Young Boys in the Champions League where he could have had a hat-trick.
The situation ramped up overnight and Rennes pushed to make it happen as soon as possible.
Brendan Rodgers had a message for Kyogo recently when he said he would not keep any player at the club who wanted to be elsewhere and now that looks to have come to fruition.
In a social media post shared on X by Celts Are Here writer @CraigCelt, an image showed Kyogo seemingly boarding a private plane bound for France as he gets set to pen the deal to make him their new star.
Who should Celtic replace Kyogo with this January window?
The writer posted: “A very wet @mrloafy at Glasgow airport has snapped Kyogo boarding the private jet slated for Rennes.”
It is sure to be a transfer that is hard to stomach for punters but it could accelerate Rodgers’ striker plans for the rest of the window.
Louie Barry or Mathias Kvistgaarden are the two frontmen being linked with Parkhead this month.
