Amid the chaos this season, one thing has remained a constant, and that’s the Celtic supporters’ feelings towards the board.
Under Brendan Rodgers, there were protests against the Celtic board; it continued during Martin O’Neill’s interim spell, and it won’t waver now that Wilfried Nancy is in the building.
In fact, it probably engulfs the flames, especially with the Green Brigade being banned by Celtic, as the powers that be continue to show they have no clue.
You even had Billy Dodds firing a few shots at the Celtic board, and what they think of themselves.

Billy Dodds sounds a warning to ‘untouchable’ Celtic board
Speaking on Go Radio, Dodds spoke about Nancy’s first game in charge, and how things didn’t go to plan against Hearts and the reaction around it all.
He stated that the Celtic board, who are already under severe pressure, can’t afford for this appointment to go wrong.
The former Inverness coach added that those in suits act like they are ‘untouchable’, and they don’t realise that they are under ‘bigger pressure’ than they think they are.
Dodds also warned the board that it’s ‘not just the Green Brigade’ who are against them, but the majority of Celtic Park.
“What I will say is, if this (Nancy appointment) doesn’t work,” said Dodds. “The board, now they are under bigger pressure than what they probably think they are.
“You get the feeling at times, and I don’t know a lot about Celtic, the Celtic board think they are untouchable.
“But you get the feeling also that if this appointment doesn’t work, they will be under major scrutiny like they have never been before, and that’s the feeling I am getting.
“You see the growth within the Celtic fans. It’s not just in the stadium with the Green Brigade. It’s not just the Green Brigade now. It’s a lot of Celtic Park, and if they turned on you, it’s anarchy. They will come under pressure as they have never experienced in years, even though they think, at times, that they are untouchable.”
Why on earth are the board hoarding so much cash?!
Dodds says Celtic and Rangers have to be ‘careful’ in the Scottish Premiership
Let’s be honest, there has been no season like it in Scottish football. Every week, there is drama and chaos of some kind.
Celtic and Rangers have parted ways with their managers for the first time in a season, all whilst Hearts sit at the top of the Premiership table.
But Dodds warned those in Glasgow that they need to get their act together as soon as possible.
“They have to be careful, both Celtic and Rangers,” added Dodds. “Don’t let other teams; they are in it already, but don’t give them a real advantage where they end up losing out on the Championship.”
