Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has been named the SPFL Premiership Manager of the Season.
On the brink of another domestic treble, the SPFL have honoured the Celtic manager for his runaway performance in the Scottish Premiership.
Rodgers won the league as Celtic beat Dundee United at Tannadice to ensure the Hoops’ fourth title in a row, meaning that the Parkhead club remain Scotland’s most successful club.
Reacting to the award, the Hoops gaffer hailed all the people responsible for the award as Rodgers praised everyone involved at Celtic.

Brendan Rodgers makes promise to Celtic fans after lifting SPFL award
Rodgers currently has a 17-point gap from Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership table and is the clear and deserving winner of the award.
Speaking about the achievement, the Celtic boss praised everyone at the club with a promise to the fans for next season.
Rodgers told Celtic’s official website, “It is a real honour to receive this award and it is one for us all – the players, my backroom team and all the staff at the club who have worked so hard right across the season to deliver such a high level of consistency and success.
“We have produced some great performances across the season and some great numbers, which have been the foundation for us winning the Premiership title so convincingly.
“Our aim at the start of every season will be to bring exciting, attacking and winning football to our fans and we are pleased to have done that again this year.”
With more attacking football, Celtic fans will have a lot to look forward to next season.
