Brendan Rodgers was not happy about Dundee’s third goal against the Celtic at Dens Park.
Celtic had to battle to a draw at Dundee despite going ahead twice in Tayside as Tony Docherty’s side gave Brendan Rodgers some food for thought late on at Dens Park.
The Celtic manager named a Hoops starting lineup in Dundee which gave starts to Luke McCowan, Greg Taylor and Paulo Bernardo as Rodgers looks to manage his squad through injuries and a packed fixture schedule.
The Bhoys got off to a great start after McCowan put Celtic ahead early on but, as what has become a regular occurrence, the team were passive and failed to kill off the Tayside club after spurning gilt-edged chances and tried to walk the ball through a packed Dundee defence.
The Dark Blues not only pegged Celtic back twice but actually took the lead in the 78th minute and as they did, Sky Sports’ cameras caught Rodgers’ instant reaction to the goal.

What did Brendan Rodgers say as Dundee took the lead vs Celtic?
Dundee took the lead at a corner where Celtic defender Auston Trusty failed to stay strong as Aaron Donnelly rose to nod home the goal.
Take a look at what the Sky Sports camera caught Rodgers saying:
Clearly, the Celtic boss had his thoughts on the header which can’t be written on here but it’s fair to say he felt the American could have been stronger in his challenge.
What Brendan Rodgers said post-match about Celtic defender Auston Trusty vs Dundee
Speaking after the match the Celtic boss was clearly unhappy at Trusty being bullied at the corner and he the US defender know exactly that.
Rodgers told STV News, “You’ve got to stay on your feet. It’s as simple as that.
“You’re six-foot-four, you got to deal with that better. But he knows that. He understands that, but that’s what I’m saying, across certain as we went a bit soft.”
Rodgers now has a serious choice to make ahead of the Scottish Cup tie against Kilmarnock at Celtic Park on Saturday.
Trusty was weak at Dundee’s second and third goals, so does the Hoops boss give him a chance to redeem himself or does Rodgers reinstate Liam Scales to partner Cameron Carter-Vickers at the heart of the Celtic defence?
