Celtic fans seem to be getting excited about the prospect of Kjetil Knutsen becoming the new manager.
Knutsen seemingly fits what Celtic need from a manager as they look to replace Brendan Rodgers.
Appointing the Bodo/Glimt manager would also fit the theory posited by Gordon Strachan that the Hoops will wait until December to appoint Rodgers’ replacement.
The 47-year-old’s contract expires at the Norwegian giants at the end of the year, and with speculation about a move to Glasgow intensifying, fans have had their say.

Celtic fans want Kjetil Knutsen to become the new manager
Over the years, Bodo/Glimt have become the blueprint model for clubs to follow when it comes to being successful.
As well as dominating domestically, they have also reached the semi-finals of European competitions.
This is the level that Celtic want to get to, so it is no surprise to see that he is the fans’ number one candidate to get the job.
@j_mag88 wrote: “If Knutsen is even slightly interested in the job @CelticFC needs to do everything in their power to get it over the line. What he’s done with Bodo is sensational, he is the clear favourite with the fans and the perfect fit.”
@MacaroniMan2021 added: “I would love for Kjetil Knutsen to be our next manager but unless there’s a major readjustment in the way the club is run I fear it will be all for nought.”
@johnbro85150726 stated: “If Celtic haven’t approached him yet they are failing then.”
@sammybhoy1967 stated: “The man for me. Said it soon as Rodgers left. Not sure if our board will match his ambitions, but he seems like the perfect fit.”
@RjayCeltic wrote: “Absolutely not getting my hopes up about Knutsen. Until I see him in the dugout I refuse to believe that guy would want anything to do with Celtic.”
