The Celtic AGM is still attracting plenty of attention, especially after the London Stock Exchange announcement last night.
Peter Lawwell and Dermot Desmond’s reappointment to the Celtic board alongside six other executives was hardly surprising considering they hold the vast majority of shares.
Celtic fans and shareholders who attended the meeting made their voices perfectly clear on what they thought of the leadership and ambition this current board are showing.

And now, after the results of the AGM poll placed Dermot Desmond and the rest in charge for another year, the Celtic supporters have sent the Parkhead board a furious message.

Celtic fans are furious with Parkhead ‘dictatorship’
There was always bound to be anger around this vote but now, after Ross Desmond and Peter Lawwell’s conduct at the Celtic AGM, fans have clearly had enough of the current board.
@Frankie_FAC kicks us off with this, “When you get to mark your own homework, absolute shambles from top to bottom!”
@Sacktheboard967 is deeply unhappy and said, “These aren’t results? This is what always happens, this is our problem. The few have so much power over the many.”
We think @barry326672 was being slightly sarcastic as he said, “Wonderful uplifting news. The vast majority of Celtic fans will be delighted the most successful board in the club’s history are back where they belong.
“Mr Desmond and Mr Lawwell I salute you ☘️.”

What now for Celtic?
Well, the only thing to do now is to try and park the anger over the Celtic AGM and focus on team matters.
Celtic have a big Europa League tie against Feyenoord coming up as well as a tricky away tie at Hibs on Sunday.
With Wilfried Nancy set to be appointed the new Celtic boss, fans will need to park the AGM anger, for now, and look to supporting the new manager and the team through this tough run of fixtures.
