Celtic fans are at loggerheads with the board after losing faith in the current regime.

There was initially some optimism from Celtic supporters after the owners agreed to meet them to discuss their concerns, however, it proved to be a non-starter.

The Hoops’ hierarchy defended the poor start to the season, which has only angered fans even more, and next steps are being decided by the fans collective.

Some have already voiced their concerns, and have taken to social media to show their feelings.

Protest banners spotted at Celtic Park

Fans have tried all sorts of efforts, including being silent in the stands, displaying banners in the ground.

While Celtic may be away on international duty, some travelled to Celtic Park on Wednesday night to show the board how they’re feeling.

Posted on X, a number of banners have been left outside Parkhead, all with varying messages to the board.

Messages included ‘Still no confidence’ and ‘Celtic board forbidden from the stands’, proving that if the likes of Peter Lawwell and Michael Nicholson thought they had reached a common ground with fans, they are wrong.

Will there be more protests at Celtic games?

So far, there has been no official line from the Celtic fans’ collective confirming if protests will take place after the international break.

Every game since the transfer window closed has heard chants of ‘All Celtic fans against the board’ as well as various banners inside the grounds echoing the concerns of supporters.

Supporters stayed out of the ground until the 12th minute at Kilmarnock and had scheduled a 29-minute silence against Motherwell, before the board met fans.

It would be no surprise to see similar measures resurface.
