It was another chaotic Monday at Celtic.
Rewind back to October, and Brendan Rodgers is being booted out of Celtic on a Monday evening, Dermot Desmond is verbally bashing him, and Martin O’Neill is returning to the dugout.
Fast forward to the present, and once again, on a Monday, it’s all drama at Celtic, but this time, Wilfried Nancy is getting sacked, and O’Neill is back again.
All the details around O’Neill have been confirmed, including the same backroom staff who were with him only a month ago.
And a previously worried Peter Grant will be delighted to hear that Stevie Woods is part of that coaching team.

Peter Grant on Stevie Woods at Celtic
Around the time of Nancy’s sacking, it was suggested that Woods was also heading for the exit door, and it wasn’t pleasing Grant.
Speaking on Go Radio, before confirmation came through that Celtic’s goalkeeping coach is part of O’Neill’s set-up again.
Grant made it clear that the stories he was hearing about Woods were ‘wrong’ and that he is a ‘fantastic’ goalkeeping coach.
Celtic have lost their identity in recent times and that winning feeling. It needs to return as soon as possible.
That’s why Grant explained that more people like Woods need to be inside Lennoxtown because he is a ‘Celtic man.’
“I am hoping that the story about Stevie Woods is wrong,” said Grant. “He is a fantastic goalkeeping coach.
“He has worked wonders with certain guys who you thought couldn’t do well. I am hoping that it is put on the back burner now because he is a Celtic man.
“You need more of them sitting on there, along with Martin.”
