Celtic fans will be delighted to see that one star has returned to training following a lengthy spell out injured.
Injuries have plagued Celtic this season, with Colby Donovan the latest to join the treatment table at Lennoxtown.
Thankfully, some stars are on their way back to bolster Martin O’Neill’s squad, including one that caught the eye during the 74-year-old’s first stint of the 2025/26 season.
Is this the worst group of finishers you’ve seen in a Celtic squad?
Callum Osmand returns to Celtic training
Ahead of this weekend’s game against St Mirren, Callum Osmand was spotted among the rest of the squad training.
Osmand has been out with a hamstring problem since November and there were initial fears that the teenager may not be seen again this season.
He was given his chance in the first-team by O’Neill and scored his first professional goal against Rangers in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final.
There isn’t any chance of him being named in the side as he has only just returned to the grass, but it is a positive sign when the Hoops need all of the firepower they can get.
Callum Osmand will be desperate to play under Martin O’Neill again
After being brought in as a project signing by Brendan Rodgers, O’Neill showed what can happen when you give youngsters a chance in the team.
The youngster will be forever indebted to the Hoops legend and will hope he can play for him again before the season ends.
“From day one, he (O’Neill) spoke to me and said he thinks really highly of me,” shared Osmand in November 2025. “The staff think highly of me, and that gives you the boost you need, really.

“He has given me that confidence when he has come in, and given me the trust really. That’s all you need from a manager.
“It just takes one person to believe in you and push you on. Hopefully, this is just the start, and I have to keep building and pushing on.”
