The Celtic supporters weren’t the only ones enjoying themselves against Rangers on Sunday at Ibrox in the Scottish Cup quarter-finals.

Several of Celtic’s injured players were also in the Broomloan Stand, including Alistair Johnston, Callum Osmand, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Arne Engels, and Anthony Ralston.

A lot of negative footage is doing the rounds, given the full-time scenes of Celtic’s penalty shootout win over Rangers, but there was one of Johnston dancing with the supporters.

It’s not yet known whether this footage had taken place after Celtic had already beaten Rangers, at half-time, or even before the game, because the 7,500 fans were in the stands by 10 am.

Either way, Johnston, to nobody’s surprise, is leading the charge and the dancing, with his fellow teammates behind him.

This is what Celtic is all about, and it’s great to see some of the new faces, such as Osmand, drinking in what it’s like representing Scotland’s most successful club.

After Celtic had downed Rangers, Osmand posted a picture of himself on social media, with Johnston and Ralston standing behind him.

Celtic’s summer signing is all smiles, as he adds on his Instagram story, ‘what a win’, with Johnston wearing his shades and enjoying himself.

Yes, the Hoops have been abject this season, but you can’t deny that there is a togetherness in the camp right now, and that is getting the team over the line again and again.

That’s where Martin O’Neill and his coaching staff deserve huge credit, because they’re keeping Celtic in the hunt to win the double again this season.

There is still a long way to go, including the high possibility that Johnston and Osmand should be back from injury for the post-split fixtures.
