Greg Taylor has spoken for the first time since completing his move to Greek Super League outfit PAOK.
Taylor was announced by PAOK in bizarre fashion after his contract at Celtic officially expired.
The full-back signed a three year deal with the Thessaloniki club but will miss his time in Glasgow after Taylor’s wife penned an emotional goodbye to Celtic.
Now all settled into his new club, the 27-year-old revealed why he opted to join his new side.

Greg Taylor reveals why he chose to join PAOK
In the six seasons at Celtic, Taylor had nothing but success but he admitted the plan laid out by PAOK and their desire to bring him to the club was what swayed him.
“It’s obviously a new chapter for me and my family but I’m very excited to be here now,” he told the club’s official channels.
“The love I was shown from the club, many of the directors, the manager, they showed that they believed in me and were very excited for me to come to the project with such a historical season, the 100 years of the club.”
Greg Taylor wants to win the Greek Super League
Taylor won the Scottish Premiership five times with Celtic and will be hoping for a similar feat with PAOK.
After winning the league in 2024 PAOK missed out as Olympiacos won the title, with Luis Palma in their side.
As PAOK head into their 100th year as a club, Taylor wants to help bring it back to Thessaloniki.
“We want to be the best team in Greece,” he said. “We want to win the league and hopefully be successful in Europe. That would be our aim for this season.”
