Greg Taylor’s wife issues a brilliant 12-word message as he leaves Celtic for PAOK

It’s the news every Celtic fan was expecting.

On Tuesday, Greg Taylor joined PAOK and left Celtic after his contract at the champions of Scotland expired.

Without anybody confirming it, it was known for some time that Taylor wasn’t going to sign a new deal and open a door for a new adventure.

That new career path for the left-back starts in Greece, and for a PAOK side that finished third during the recently concluded season.

Every Celtic supporter wishes Taylor the best of luck, and his partner had a brilliant message on social media once he left.

Taylor joined Celtic from Kilmarnock in 2019, and he became a key player under Ange Postecoglou, as well as Brendan Rodgers.

Many would have seen several months ago that Taylor walked out with his baby daughter as his mascot – and it surely would have been a proud and emotional moment for the player and his family.

And now, Laura Taylor, his wife, has posted a brilliant message on Instagram once her husband’s exit was confirmed.

‘Home is where the heart is 💚,’ wrote Laura Taylor. ‘A new adventure for team Taylor 🇬🇷’

Forever a Celtic legend…and the numbers prove it

Nobody is going to deny that Taylor divided opinion at Celtic, especially under Rodgers and at the start of last season.

But numbers don’t lie, and the Scotland international has had a career to be proud of.

To pick up 11 trophies at Celtic is no easy feat, and it’s fair to say that, as the years pass by, Taylor’s legacy will grow even further, and he will be appreciated a lot more.

But now, he moves on, and so do Celtic, as Kieran Tierney is back at Parkhead and ready to make that left-back spot his own again.
