Celtic hero Ange Postecoglou is coming under serious fire at Tottenham Hotspur.
It has been nearly two years since Postecoglou left Celtic for Spurs and took up a job in the money-crazy English Premier League for the first time in his managerial career.
To say that it has been an interesting ride for Postecoglou would be an understatement, to say the least, because he has been a huge talking point and divided opinion like no other.
From Postecoglou’s all-action style of play to the blunt and forthright manner in which he responds to the media, as well as the fans, is unique and refreshing.
One man who knows the Greek-born Australian really well is former Liverpool forward Harry Kewell, who was part of his coaching staff at Celtic.
And Kewell shared an interesting insight into what his former mentor was like on a day-to-day basis on the training pitch, as he comes under fire in north London.

Ange Postecoglou in Celtic training amid Tottenham criticism
Tottenham are sitting in the bottom half of the Premier League table and were beaten by London rivals Chelsea last week, so the pressure is mounting on the man in the dugout.

Kewell told Sky Sports that Postecoglou is ‘different’ in how he goes about things on a day-to-day basis, and he just ‘loved’ the way he coached.
The former Australia international shared how he would want to ‘stop’ training to point out and deal with issues he is seeing from the players, but Postecoglou would go against that for one reason.
“He is different,” responded Kewell on how good Postecoglou is. “But the fact that he allows you to go and express yourself.
“There would be times when you would be in training, and you would want to stop it. But he would be like ‘no, let them figure it out, because that’s what players do’. I loved the way that he coached.”
Kewell on Postecoglou’s style at Tottenham after Celtic success
One thing you can’t deny and that’s the fact that Postecoglou is entertaining of the highest order, no matter what you think of him.
The Celtic Park faithful will forever be grateful towards the 59-year-old for what he did, and that’s largely down to how he played the game.
Kewell shared that, during the peak of his powers as a player, he wouldn’t have hesitated to play for a man of the calibre of Postecoglou.
“I watch him now at Spurs and I just think ‘the way that he plays game, I loved’,” added Kewell.
“Just full-out attack. I would have loved to have played for him, if I was 23. I would have signed up straight away, knowing that all I can do is attack.
“The way that I saw him work, up in Scotland, I just thought ‘that is something I can learn throughout my coaching career, to be able to manipulate certain things and work in that way’.
“I think he gives you the freedom. But that comes with a consequence because he wants that high press. The high energy. The high work rate. Again, that’s the exciting thing.”
