The striking duo spent long periods of time repping their respective colours, Celtic and Rangers, with some having more success than others.

Now, you get to see them as pundits on Sky Sports, as Celtic and Rangers will lock horns for their latest Glasgow derby bout on Sunday.

Chris Sutton’s goal record for Celtic against Rangers

After winning the Premier League title under the legendary Kenny Dalglish at Blackburn Rovers in 1994/95, Sutton had an ill-fated spell at Chelsea and his career was going backwards.

But then Sutton rocked up at Celtic in 2000 and was part of Martin O’Neill’s famous Treble side, that included the King of Kings, Henrik Larsson.

With Larsson always seen as the main figure, as well as John Hartson being pivotal, Sutton did pretty well to still score six goals in Glasgow derbies and win more than he lost.

Kris Boyd’s goal record for Rangers against Celtic

Boyd sure does a lot of talking as a pundit, but when it came to games against Celtic, he simply didn’t match it and fell flat on his face most of the time.

Despite scoring a record 217 goals in Scotland’s top-tier, the 41-year-old only managed to net a pitiful one goal in a Glasgow derby.

That record extended when he also played for Kilmarnock, as he proceeded to lose most of the matches he played against Celtic in his career.
