Celtic fans and the club’s board will meet this Monday at Celtic Park.
Celtic Fans Collective will sit down with Hoops decision-makers after they and other fan organisations were invited to discuss ongoing concerns about the running of the club.
The invitation signalled the postponement of the three-match silent protest, which was set to continue during the Europa League clash against Braga.
Celtic fans were due to remain silent for 29 minutes of the encounter, but that was thrown out when the board reached out for talks.
The outcome of the meeting is highly anticipated and ex-Celtic stopper Joe Hart has shared what he thinks is the most important thing about the talks.

Hart says Celtic fans and board must ‘move forward altogether’
Hart was co-commentating Celtic’s horrendous 2-0 home defeat to Braga for TNT Sports on Thursday evening and said: “It’s such a shame (reduced crowd vs Braga) because it makes such a big difference.
“What an amazing place to play football, what an amazing football club – but they (fans and club) need to be united.
“That meeting is huge on Monday. You have to own your decisions, come to an agreement and move forward.
“That’s the most important thing about Monday, find a way to move forward altogether, push in the right direction.”
Celtic Fans Collective’s statement about meeting
Just before 21:30 BST on Wednesday night, Celtic Fans Collective issued a statement confirming the meeting invitation from the club board.
It read: “This evening, Celtic fan organisations received an invitation from Celtic FC to attend a meeting with the club on Monday 6th October to discuss ongoing concerns about the running of the club.
“In conjunction with the Celtic Fans Collective, supporter organisations have accepted this invitation. Celtic FC’s representatives will include Michael Nicholson and Chris McKay.
“We welcome the club’s decision to meet and engage directly on the issues raised. However, we remain under no illusions about the scale of change still required at board level.
“As a result of this development, the planned continuation of the “3-match silence” has been postponed, in good faith, in the hope and expectation that supporters will now receive full and honest communication from the club.
“We thank every supporter who has stood behind this campaign and helped bring the Celtic board to the table. Without this unity, it would not have been possible. It highlights the strength and influence of a united Celtic support.
“The Celtic Fans Collective will continue its campaign irrespective of the outcome of this meeting, with the clear aim of securing meaningful, positive change for the betterment of Celtic Football Club and its supporters.”
