Former Celtic assistant manager John Kennedy is on the brink of a return to football just seven weeks after leaving the club.
Kennedy was a crucial part of Celtic’s successes over the last 15 years as part of various managers’ backroom staff.
Kennedy worked under the likes of Ronny Deila, Neil Lennon, Ange Postecoglou and Brendan Rodgers on two occasions and worked his way up from scout to youth team coach to become Celtic’s assistant manager.

But now, it appears that the 42-year-old is set for a return to coaching with Brendan Rodgers as both make their way to the Saudi Pro League.
