Lazio fans stage Serie A boycott as Celtic supporters’ stand-off with the board continues

Celtic fans’ unhappiness with the Parkhead board has been made clear over the last four months as Hoops supporters question the direction the club is going under the current executive team.

However, as Celtic supporters toy with the idea of a boycott, the Lazio fans did not mess about as they made their feelings perfectly clear with a huge demonstration for their fixture against Genoa this weekend.

Lazio fans did not mess about at the weekend as they sent a huge message to their board with a boycott of their Serie A fixture against Genoa.

The Eagles supporters are unhappy with how their club is being run, accusing the Lazio board of lack of ambition and poor action in the transfer market.

The protest was organised by Curva Nord in a protest that involved almost all of Lazio’s 30,000 season ticket holders.

There certainly seems to be an appetite for this online as Celtic supporters lose patience with the board, especially during this transfer window.

With just two players signed, Martin O’Neill has made his transfer frustrations vocal as the Celtic manager waits for deals to be concluded by the club.
