Luke McCowan joined Celtic from Dundee as a life-long Hoops supporter.
So if anyone has any idea how the Celtic support is feeling right now, it’s the former Dundee captain as McCowan has followed the club his whole life.
Celtic’s win at St Mirren helped take pressure off the team’s pursuit of Hearts as Callum McGregor’s late Hoops strike turned what looked like another two dropped points into a crucial victory.
But prior to the win in Paisley, the Celtic AGM caused controversy and McCowan has shared how he and his teammates are feeling about it all.

Luke McCowan says Celtic players must ‘block out’ the AGM controversy
It appeared that all the negativity surrounding the AGM had affected the Celtic players as they struggled at St Mirren.
And McCowan has warned his Celtic teammates that they need to block out the noise as he said all that matters right now is picking up wins.
McCowan told The National, “Listen, the players haven’t got any say or control on what’s happening, but we just need to go and do a job for this club, and that’s the main thing that we need to do.
“Regardless of how the fans are feeling, regardless of what’s going on with the board and all that kind of stuff, we as players need to go and get three points – and it’s as black-and-white as that.
Poll: Do you have faith in the Celtic board?
“I’ll always say it, that’s what we need to do, and that’s at the end of the day what we’re judged on. I mean, if we go away and we have a bad performance, it’s, ‘Those players weren’t good enough today’, regardless of what’s going on.
“It’s us players who need to take a bit of pride in our performances and the qualities we’re showing, and that’s probably why we’re hammering that message of ‘You need to keep showing that you’re a top Celtic player’.
“Celtic is a massive, massive club. I’m getting passionate about it, but when you play in a big club, that’s what you need to do. You need to block out everything, regardless of everything that’s going on.”
What the Celtic Fans Collective have planned immediately after the AGM
The AGM left a sour taste in the Celtic fans’ mouths at the weekend and now, it is up to the Collective to take the next steps forward.
The Celtic Fans Collective have arranged the next meeting where they will discuss when and where the next action will be taken.
A meeting will be held tonight in Graces where the Collective will convene at 7pm to discuss the way to move forward after the shambolic Celtic AGM.
It is clear what the Celtic board think of the fans and it looks like now, those fans’ voices are about to be heard as loud as ever.
