Marc Crosas may not have made too much of an impact at Celtic but it appears the club made a considerable one on him.

The Spaniard played just over 50 times in three years for the Hoops between 2008-11 having joined from Barcelona but he still adores the club he fell in love with at that time.

Of course, the admiration for Celtic comes with an equal disdain for rivals Rangers and that fact has certainly not been lost on Crosas as he proved last night.

Taking to social media, the 36-year-old made it clear he was watching their clash with Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League last night.

Crosas shared a picture of a tifo from inside Ibrox where their fans had taken a leaf out of US President Donald Trump’s book by using his slogan for their banner.

It read: “Make Rangers Great Again. No Surrender”, with stars and the red white and blue of America.

But Crosas made it very clear how he felt about the tifo with a clear stance on X where he posted in response: “Could not be worse”, accompanied by a sick emoji and another emoji in a similar vein.

His post racked up thousands of likes and shares after it was published.

Crosas often takes to his social media pages to show his support for Celtic as well as his dislike for the Light Blues.

Just last season Crosas poked fun at Rangers as he took aim at their efforts during a miserable 5-1 Champions League qualifying defeat to PSV Eindhoven.

Crosas also urged Celtic to sign Rafael Santos Borre after he scored for Eintracht Frankfurt in their winning Europa League Final clash against Gers.

And he made clear his love for his former club back in 2020 when Crosas insisted his life had “changed forever” on the anniversary of the day he signed for Celts in 2008.

Fans flocked to Crosas’ anniversary post to share their memories of the player.
