Celtic continue their defence of the League Cup on Sunday when they take on Partick Thistle.
The Championship side are managed by former Celtic defender Mark Wilson, who understands what life is like in Glasgow and the pressure that comes with wearing the famous green and white colours.
Even though Celtic won the double last season, as well as 13 out of the last 14 titles, fans have vented their anger towards the board, including how they have gone about their work.
That’s the pressure and expectations that are set on Scotland’s most successful club, and the man in Thistle’s dugout isn’t surprised.

Mark Wilson says ‘always a crisis’ at Celtic ahead of Partick Thistle meeting
Celtic crashed out of the Champions League in August, and they will be playing Europa League football this term, which has been the main point of anger.
Wilson told Sky Sports that he understands the frustration regarding the 2025 summer transfer window, as well as not securing their passage into Europe’s elite competition.
But Wilson explained that, despite a lot of off-field noise this summer, ‘there is always a crisis’ at Celtic.
“There is always a crisis at Celtic, I have been through many myself,” said Wilson. “But I think when you look at where they are, sitting at the top of the table, what have they conceded two or three goals this season? Not too bad.
“I get the Champions League thing, and the transfer window. It always comes with a big cloud.
“But I am pretty sure that if Brendan Rodgers and the players keep winning games, then that cloud will disperse pretty quickly.”
Wilson on Brendan Rodgers being ‘frustrated’ at Celtic
Rodgers hasn’t been shy to express his views and even call out people from inside Celtic, without naming names.
Looking at it all from the outside, Wilson stated that, whilst the Celtic manager will be ‘frustrated’ with how things have gone, the domestic results will still please him.
“Again, they have added to the squad since then, so they are incredibly strong, and they have been together a long, long time,” added Wilson
“Brendan Rodgers, maybe a wee bit frustrated at how things worked out in the transfer window, but in terms of domestic form, I am sure he is pretty pleased.”
