Celtic’s problems this season have been well documented.
From a failed summer transfer window to a ‘senior’ member at Celtic briefing against Brendan Rodgers in the press, the issues at the club are deep and fans are looking for change.
Celtic supporters are taking the board to task as they seek answers about where the club is heading under their leadership.
Knocked out of the Champions League by Kairat Almaty, Celtic are now struggling in the Europa League after their latest defeat to a poor SC Braga team at Parkhead.
And speaking about Celtic’s struggling performances, Michael Stewart has pointed the finger of blame for the ‘civil war’ happening at the Parkhead club as the reason for the poor form and who is to blame for it.

Michael Stewart says ‘some of the board and the manager’ are to blame for Celtic’s ‘civil war’
The Premier Sports pundit is not afraid to put his view across as he points the finger of blame as to why Celtic are performing below par right now.
Stewart said on The Scottish Football Social Club [43m], “I think there’s a multitude of reasons and it all really stems back to the summer transfer window.
“When you’re in a changing room and you’re needing strengthened and you’re always needing to add fresh blood and you’ve got some of your bigger players have also been moving on and they’re not replaced.
“That creates a general negativity anyway, even on a subconscious level. Then you’ve got the civil war and let’s be honest, there was a bit of a civil war going on between some of the board and the manager and there’s statements going back and forward.
“It’s all sort of veiled comments. These things have clearly had an impact on the team as a whole and the atmosphere and the synergy.
“The manager spoke a lot about that before about everybody needing to work in the same direction and have that synergy.
“It’s not there off the park and it’s affected on the park.”
One thing Michael Stewart got wrong about his Celtic verdict
Whilst all the headlines between the Celtic board and Brendan Rodgers do not help the team’s cause this season, apportioning some of the blame to the manager is wrong.
Rodgers made it clear he required players to strengthen the team. The Celtic boss didn’t get that and then communicated this to the fans via the media.
Whoever from the club then decided to go behind Rodgers’ back to the press then fuelled what has happened since and the Celtic boss cannot be blamed for that.
The majority of the problems at Celtic right now are not to be laid at the manager’s door as the fans all well know.
