North Curve Celtic have unveiled a stunning impression of what The Celtic End could eventually look like.

In February, fan groups including the Green Brigade launched a campaign aiming to turn the Jock Stein Stand at Celtic Park in to a vibrant standing section.

The start of the project included the distribution of 8,000 leaflets to Celtic supporters during a home game against Aberdeen.

Things may have gone a little quieter in recent weeks but they’re about to be stepped up again for next Thursday’s crucial SWPL clash between Celtic and Glasgow City.

Earlier this week, we told you how Celtic ultras groups had united to throw their weight behind the big SWPL title clash.

They are encouraging fans to buy tickets for the match, and ideally for the Jock Stein lower.

As part of the promotion, North Curve Celtic posted a stunning impression of what the new end could look like on Thursday morning.

You can view it on their @NCCeltic Twitter feed.

It looks genuinely really exciting, and the majority of quote tweets are saying the same thing.

Of course, there are many difficulties to overcome before this can become a regular reality.

Many season ticket holders may not want to vacate their seat. That is a valid point.

Games like next Thursday may be what is needed to convince supporters that this new section will be for the benefit of everyone.

Celtic are clearly happy for fans to take up those seats for next Thursday’s game. As the eTicketing site shows, supporters have the option to sit in the North Stand or Jock Stein Stand.

In an earlier Twitter post, the North Curve encouraged fans to buy tickets in sections 139 and 140 of Celtic Park.

The eTicketing site seems to show that both those sections have already sold out.

That is good news. Seems like it’s going to be a bumper crowd for a massive night for the women’s side.
