Tensions between Celtic supporters, the manager, and the board are at an all-time high right now.

Wilfried Nancy was subjected to chants for him to be sacked after Celtic’s 2-1 loss against Dundee United, which was his fourth loss in a row.

While Michael Nicholson has thrown his support behind Nancy, that has only done more damage as fans made their feelings clear inside Tannadice.

One of those who has really been feeling the heat of late is Paul Tisdale, the club’s head of football operations.

He played a big role in the appointment of the Frenchman, which has brought questions about his future, and his latest act isn’t going to do himself any favours.

Paul Tisdale currently on holiday while Celtic are engulfed in crisis

After being spotted sleeping on the job, Tisdale is now nowhere to be seen.

Sky Sports revealed that Tisdale is currently away on holiday but is still in close contact with everyone and is planning ahead for the January transfer window.

Celtic have lost all four games under the manager he chose to appoint, with a toxic atmosphere expected at Parkhead for the game against Aberdeen on Sunday.

Everyone is entitled to a holiday, of course, but the timing of it won’t help to repair relationships with the fans.

Not a good look at all… Do you have faith in Paul Tisdale to make the right decisions for the club?

When did Paul Tisdale join Celtic?

Until recently, very little was heard about the former Exeter City and MK Dons manager.

He was appointed as the club’s head of football operations in October 2024, and his role is primarily to oversee all things that take place on the pitch.

This can include recruitment, the analysis into games and closely working with the manager.
