Well, it certainly seems that Celtic are casting the net far and wide to try and find Ange Postecoglou’s replacement.
The former Celtic manager has created a media frenzy by opting to go to Spurs this week. The Scottish press has gone into overdrive trying to get the latest on who Celtic are looking at to try and replace the Australian.
And this morning, The Sun has reported that AZ Alkmaar manager, Pascal Jansen is on Celtic’s managerial list. But the report also says that Jansen is also a target for Ajax and PSV Eindhoven as both Eredivisie sides look to find their new manager.

Jansen never got the opportunity to play football professionally. He was a youth player for AZ Alkmaar and Ajax but a knee injury forced him to retire from the game.
Jansen took over the Alkmaar in 2020 after the Dutch side sacked fellow countryman, Arne Slot. The 50-year-old had no previous managerial experience before this appointment.
Jansen was a coach at PSV Eindhoven where he looked after the u19 squad for five years and was promoted to Head of the Youth Academy.

As the week continues, you can be sure that more names will be added to the list by the Celtic board. Just this morning, we discussed how the club were looking at young Italian coach Francesco Farioli.
However, with Enzo Maresca, Kjetil Knutsen and Andoni Iraola all being heavily linked, it’s going to be a long time yet before we find out who the next new manager is likely to be.
