Yesterday morning, 67 Hail Hail discussed how Brendan Rodgers was closing in on his first summer signing as Odin Thiago Holm was scheduled for a medical in London.
The club were said to have agreed a fee for the 20-year-old midfielder and subject to the medical, the deal will be concluded later this week.
According to Stephen McGowan in The Scottish Daily Mail [print edition, page 73], Celtic have agreed to pay Valerenga £2.5m and have also agreed to a 15% sell-on clause should he move on in the future.
Holm is one of Norway’s most highly-rated prospects and it seems like Celtic are looking to do business in their usual early fashion.
Of course, this is not the only transfer news that has been circulating today. Celtic are also said to be interested in signing South Korean winger, Yang Hyun-jun.

Reports this morning say Celtic have tabled a bid but Hyun-jun’s club, Gangwon are reluctant to sell due to their precarious relegation position in the K1 League.
