It’s never easy trying to break through at a club like Celtic.
The pressure is relentless, and the quality on show is the best in the country. The last two decades of Celtic dominance have proven that.
Nobody knows that better than Scott Brown, as Celtic’s legendary captain has watched many succeed and fail in the famous green and white colours.
One man who came through during Brown’s dominant reign at Celtic is Calvin Miller, and the Falkirk winger was rightfully given his flowers for how he has turned his career around.
Would you bring Calvin Miller back to Celtic?

Scott Brown praises Calvin Miller for career rise after Celtic exit
Martin O’Neill was searching for wide players during the January transfer window, and an interesting rumour popped up that Celtic were looking at re-signing Miller.
As Brown touched up for BBC Scotland, ‘it didn’t happen’ for Miller at Celtic, but he praised the 28-year-old for ‘digging his heels in’, and now performing at the top level in Scotland.
The Ayr United coach, who came up against Miller last season as the all-action forward helped Falkirk to promotion, added that his former teammate has been ‘exceptional’ this season.
“Calvin was always very, very good coming through,” said Brown. “Obviously, it didn’t happen at Celtic at that time.
“But he has dug his heels in really, really well. He has shown his ability to go down the leagues, but also has a lot of faith in his own ability to go, ‘I am going to do that in the Premier League as well.’
“Top assister in the Premier League. He is sharp and has good quality, especially in a John McGlynn team; it suits him down to the ground.
“He has gone from League One, Championship, all the way to the Premier League. They press the same way. They are relentless in their press. But the number of goals and assists that Calvin has scored over the seasons is exceptional.”
Miller’s season in numbers for Falkirk
One thing is for sure: Miller has performed a lot better than Celtic’s big-money wingers this season, and he would certainly play regularly for the champions of Scotland.
Whatever happens at the end of the campaign, there will be a clear-out at Parkhead, and you just wonder if somebody like Miller will still be on the club’s radar in the summer.
As of this moment, Miller is playing a key role in Falkirk’s push for a top-six finish in the Premiership, and he is also the league’s top assister.
