Celtic hero Chris Sutton appeared to be getting targeted by his fellow Sky Sports pundits after the Dundee United defeat.
Celtic lost in Tannadice after being 1-0 up as Wilfried Nancy watched his side collapse in a second half that has summed up the Frenchman’s early time at the club.
The team look spineless and out of ideas as the Celtic players struggle to cope with whatever it is that Nancy is asking of them.
Should Wilfried Nancy be sacked?
And as Chris Sutton delivered his critique on Celtic’s performance at Tannadice, talkSPORT pundit Simon Jordan launched a strange attack on the former Hoops striker on social media.

Simon Jordan slams Celtic hero Chris Sutton’s ‘utter drivel’ after Dundee United loss
Sutton was giving his usual honest thoughts as he said that not all of Celtic’s problems are down to Wilfried Nancy.
The former Hoops striker also said that Martin O’Neill’s results were also ‘papering over the cracks’ at Celtic and that Nancy possibly underestimated how tough the job would be.
And Jordan took issue with all that and more on X as he tweeted, “Celtic, I am listening to absolute utter drivel from Chris Sutton.
“I can only assume it’s a Punch and Judy routine.”
Clearly referencing how the Sky Sports panel, and in particular Sutton’s spat with Kris Boyd, Jordan is less than impressed with how the broadcaster allows discussion about Scottish football to descend into a circus.
The seven-minute Celtic segment that should embarrass Sky Sports
Sky Sports’ post-match analysis can be a brutal watch at times and after Celtic’s defeat at Dundee United last night, the broadcaster lost all control.
Kris Boyd was allowed to aggressively challenge Sutton as the former Rangers man kept repeating the same points the ex-Hoops man had already answered. And James McFadden wasn’t much better either.
Have a watch of this:
It was seven minutes of Boyd badgering Sutton with McFadden chipping in as Mark Wilson sat looking embarrassed to be there.
Presenter Eilidh Barbour lost all control of the debate as Boyd lost control of his emotions once again talking about Celtic.
It’s little wonder Celtic fans are switching off from Sky Sports because even though we all love a pantomime at Christmas, the broadcaster treats our game like one all-year long.
