Anthony Ralston has been the man to face the music for Celtic in the past couple of weeks.
Celtic’s 2-0 defeat against Motherwell was their fifth in seven games under Wilfried Nancy and leaves them in real danger of falling to third, never mind challenging Hearts for the title.
It seems that Nancy’s position is already untenable, but the players themselves also need to look in the mirror.
Ralston is one of those who has come under fire for his role in the games but has often been the one to face the media.
In his latest interview, there was one key word that he continuously used when asked what Celtic need to do to rediscover their form.
Where does Wilfried Nancy go from here?
Anthony Ralston calls for ‘togetherness’ to stop Celtic crisis
Next up is the small matter of a Glasgow derby against Rangers where anything but a win will be deemed as a failure.
There is no room for error between now and the end of the season, but this also relies on the Hoops looking like a team who know what they are doing.
They’ve shown strength and unity in the past, but ‘togetherness’ was the buzzword used by the Scotland international repeatedly.

He said: “Togetherness. We’ve got the togetherness as a team.
“We’ve had a lot of changes, a group of players, staff included, all within a season. In the middle of a very busy period. But we, as a team, have got immense talent, we’ve got immense experience, and above all else our togetherness.
“We do have the togetherness as a unit and as a team. And I think that’s the most important thing, especially in a period like this. That you don’t become disjointed as teammates or within the club or anything like that.”
Wilfried Nancy has one last chance to win over Celtic fans
Only three Celtic managers have lost their first game against Rangers since 2000, but the pressure going into this one is greater than any of Nancy’s predecessors ever felt.
While others had started brightly, the Frenchman has failed to really win over anyone in his first month in charge.
How many Celtic players have scored a hat trick against Rangers?
Chants for him to be sacked have been heard regularly and there is only so long they can go on for.
Winning against Rangers would go a long way to restoring some faith, as well as give the 48-year-old the confidence he needs to succeed.
