John Higgins has been a nice ray of sunshine for Celtic fans in the sunny period of the season.
The former World Snooker champion has been talking up Celtic whilst participating in the Crucible World Championships this week.
Higgins celebrated Celtic’s league win with a cheeky dig at Rangers that left another snooker World Champion John Parrott in stitches as he said the Hoops now have 54 titles more than the Ibrox club.
And here, he winds up Ally McCoist after asking him a question about Celtic’s successes and how it made the former Rangers striker feel.

John Higgins ribs Ally McCoist over Celtic ‘dominating’ Rangers
After his first-round win at the Crucible, Higgins was speaking to McCoist about not just his tournament performances but also about Celtic.
And in a cheeky wee moment, the former Crucible champion asked McCoist a question about Celtic that made the TNT Sports commentator feel ‘ill’.
Higgins said on TNT Sports Snooker, “Are you happy that Celtic are dominating just now Ally? Can I just ask you that?
McCoist replied, “Quite frankly it makes me ill, John, for want of a better description.” And laughing, the talkSPORT man continued, “I don’t mind a bit of payback boys.”
McCoist’s pain at Celtic successes is hidden behind the smiles
McCoist, although taking the joke in good humour, is clearly hurting at Rangers still lagging miles behind Celtic in Scotland.
Now that a possible treble is a mere few weeks away, Celtic have the opportunity to break even more records under Brendan Rodgers.
Delivering a record ninth domestic treble would put the Carnlough born Celtic manager into the history books as the only Hoops boss to have ever won three trebles at Parkhead.
If that happens, then the pain McCoist is feeling now will be nothing as Glasgow once again will turn green and white.
